About the club

Fencing is fun and a good way to keep fit. We're also a pretty sociable club, and go to the pub after training, as well as other nights out throughout the year.

All kit is provided by the club, so you won't need to go and buy anything. Just turn up in a t-shirt and a pair of joggers (not shorts) and bring a bottle of water.

Your first night is completely free. After that it's £1.50 a night, or free if you're a gym member. You'll also need to buy a Sports Union membership (you need one to join any of the sports clubs).

We have fencers of all levels, from beginners to winners of national competitions, so whether you're new to fencing or have been doing it for years, come along.

Students, staff and graduates all welcome.

Now that you've decided you want to come, you'll need to know when and where it's held

When:
Mondays: 7:15 - 9pm
Wednesdays: 6:45 - 9pm

Where:
Royal College Gym
The Royal College is the big red one on George Street. To get to the the gym enter from John Street (the one with the Union, I'm sure you know it). It's the entrance further up the hill.
When you go in, go up the stairs and it's the first door on your left.

Here's a map showing the Royal College building:

See you there!
