It will be possible to join British Fencing on the day. If you want, you could fill out their application form before you arrive to save you some work before check-in.

Hi,
All details for BUSA Qualifiers have now been finalised.
As you will all be aware, Strathclyde are hosting and it's on the 28th &
29th October.
On both days check-in will open at 9.05am and close promptly at 9.35am. All
teams must be signed in by 9.35am and all team members must show proof of
BFA or equivilent licence at check-in. Check-in will be located in the
viewing gallery above the main sports hall. Please note that we require all
teams to be prompt and ready to fence as we must vacate the sports hall by
4pm on both days.
To speed up the process of check-in we have provided you with a registration
form on which you must list the full names of all of your fencers in each
weapon. This form can be downloaded from our website (doc / pdf). We would also appreciate it
if you could list the names of those in your team who would be willing to
preside matches for other universities. Please be aware that Strathclyde can
only provide a limited number of presidents and it is the duty of each
university to provide a competent president in all 3 weapons, if possible.
If you do not have anyone in your team who feels able to do this please
provide another member of your club/university for this purpose.
If you do not intend to field a team please let us know asap.
Allstar will be sponsoring this event and as usual they will also be
bringing their stall which will be selling a variety of equipment including
their new ranges designed specifically for university and club use.
Refreshments will be provided on both days with an assortment of rolls,
toasties, fruit and snacks, water, juice, tea and coffee, etc. There will be
a small cafeteria for this purpose located in the viewing gallery.
If you wish to check which league you are in please check the BUSA Website.
Ok now that you know about the serious stuff I guess we'd better tell you
about the night out arranged for the Saturday night. The SUSF AGM will be
held in the Todd Bar on Strathclyde Campus, and we hope to provide free food
(this should be confirmed this week). Everyone is welcome and the night will
continue long after the AGM has finished.
If anyone needs directions please do not hesitate to contact us (please note
there is a map of the campus on our website).
Cheers,
Jennifer
