Flowers for a friend

A couple of days ago I was phoned by the mother of one of my best friends. She told me that my friend had been in a car accident and had to stay at a hospital in London for a couple a days. I felt sorry for her and I really wanted to cheer her up. As I live in Glasgow and didn't have the opportunity to visit her in person, I thought I would send her a bouquet of flowers instead. My grandma used to say that nature is a gentle healer, so I thought a bunch of beautiful flowers would be an ideal gift to help her restore her health.

I could of course pop into a florist in Glasgow but I thought it would be much better and easier to send flowers online. In order to find a suitable florist shop that delivers flowers in England I did read up on reputable florists on an industry website.

I found a supplier which I have used before. It is one of the top ranked online flower shops. They offer a great variety in their selection of flowers at very competitive prices. What I appreciate most on the site is that they offer a number of suggestions for various occasions. I sent her a nice bouquet, called Hope, which had a rich variety of cheerful fresh flowers. The ordering process was easy and the flower delivery was free.

Three days later my friend was back in Glasgow and we went to a cafe where she told me the whole story. She also told me that the flowers really made her feel better and she thanked me for the nice card attached to the flowers.

I find it extremely positive that the online flower shops offer such great flower delivery service in the UK. My friend needed my attention and thanks to the flowers I showed that I really cared for her.
